Washington-Lee @ Yorktown Girls Varsity Basketball (6 Feb 2015)

The Yorktown Patriots girls' varsity basketball team celebrated senior night with a 36-33 victory over the visiting Washington-Lee Generals on Friday night in Arlington. With only seconds remaining in the game, Washington-Lee recovered a Yorktown turnover and tied the game at 33 on a basket by Kierra Nelson. Yorktown quickly moved the ball down court and found senior Ellen Nye open in the corner, where she made a buzzer beating 3-point short for the win. (Photo gallery)
