The Academy of the Holy Cross Crew Practice (19 Mar 2015)

I love the water and thanks to The Academy of the Holy Cross crew team, I was able to spend a late afternoon on the Anacostia River on the coach's launch taking photos for their yearbook as the girls practiced. The teams put in at the Anacostia Community Boathouse in Washington, DC, headed up river, passed the Washington Navy Yard and turned around near Nationals Park. Coach Allison was kind enough to drop me off at the boathouse before they made another round trip. It wasn't the nicest day, but any day on the water is better than a day off of it. (Photo gallery)
