The Washington-Lee Generals won both games against their cross-town rival, the Yorktown Patriots. The Generals' Freshmen football team won 48-26. The Junior Varsity game was much closer. Yorktown scored on their opening drive and led going into the half on a field goal as the clock expired. The Generals scored touchdowns in both the 3rd and 4th quarters and had a 19-9 lead when the stadium lights went out with 2:19 remaining in the game.
